Although it may seem like a scene out of a Seth Rogen movie, it wasn’t. A man in Turkey was a part of his own search party that was looking for himself.
According to local media, the 50-year-old man, Beyhan Mutlu, was out drinking with friends before he wandered off into a forest and didn’t return.
After he disappeared, his friends alerted authorities, and a search and rescue mission was set up to find him.
After the news of his disappearance got out, the search efforts intensified in nearby neighborhoods as large groups of volunteers joined the mission, Vice reported.

Those looking for him wandered the area he had been missing, for hours, calling out his name, when suddenly a man in the group spoke up.
“Who are we looking for?” he said. “I am here.”
At the moment, authorities don’t know how Mutlu got into his own search party or how his friends were unaware of his presence in the group, but police safely escorted him home.
