LOS ANGELES (KNX) - Stephen "tWitch" Boss, best known for being a DJ on the “Ellen DeGeneres Show”, has died at the age of 40.
Boss’ wife Allison Holker confirmed his death in a statement to People Magazine, writing, “It is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to share my husband Stephen has left us. Stephen lit up every room he stepped into. He valued family, friends and community above all else and leading with love and light was everything to him. He was the backbone of our family, the best husband and father, and an inspiration to his fans."
“Stephen, we love you, we miss you, and I will always save the last dance for you," she continued.

According to TMZ, Holker went into a L.A. police station Tuesday saying Boss had left the house without his car and that it “was not like him at all” to do that.
Around 11:15 a.m., paramedics responded to a shooting at an L.A. hotel where Boss’ body was found. It’s reported he died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
In 2008, Boss was a runner-up on “So You Think You Can Dance.” He then began working on “The Ellen DeGeneres” in 2014 as a DJ and became a co-executive producer on the show in 2020.
Boss is survived by his wife, Allison, and their three children.
