Bed Bath & Beyond has filed for bankruptcy, and it won’t be long before all remaining 360 stores, along with the 120 buybuy Baby stores, are closed.
As such, if you have a stack of those infamous 20% off coupons to Bed Bath & Beyond, you might want to use them as soon as you can.
According to CNN, after close of business today, Tuesday April 25, Bed Bath & Beyond will no longer be accepting any coupons.
There will still be plenty of saving to be done though, as the store plans on offering “deep discounts” on items as part of its going-out-of-business sales.
Burt Flickinger, retail expert and managing director of retail consultancy Strategic Resource Group, said, “Creditors wouldn’t want to allow shoppers to tack on those 20%-off coupons on top of 70% off liquidation prices.”
A couple of things to note if you plan on grabbing some deep discounted items: All sales after Wednesday will be final, Bed Bath & Beyond will stop accepting gift cards on May 8, and the Welcome Rewards points will stop being accepted on May 15, and the store will no longer award points to customers for purchases starting Sunday.
If you bought any items before April 24, you have until May 24 to return them.
