When asked what the scariest animal on earth is, a common answer most people give is either a shark or an alligator. While most humans don't have to come across these animals too often, an encounter with either is enough to put fear in just about anyone.
Now, a new video is being spread online showing a standoff between the two terrifying animals, and viewers don't know what to be more scared of.
Tourists in Hilton Head, South Carolina recently spotted an alligator while standing on a dock near the water. The group decided to toss some food to the gator to see if it would react, but while the alligator didn't budge, the food attracted a shark to the area.
In the viral clip, the shark circles the floating alligator, eventually taking a bite of the gator's foot; causing a reaction from both animals.
Luckily for the tourists, both animals remained in the water and eventually went their separate ways before a fight broke out.
According to Bro Bible, the area the tourists were in is common for both sharks and alligators, so anyone with a fear of these animals may want to stay away.
