Former President Donald Trump has never shied away from promoting his merchandise, and in his latest campaign email he announced the return of his iconic MAGA hat.
“I have just re-launched vintage MAGA hats! These came from my vault, and will only be released once. This is a once in a lifetime offer,” Mr. Trump said in an email to his supporters on Sunday, the Washington Times reported.
In his email, Trump went on to boast about the hats, saying that they wouldn’t be there for long.
“I’ve only told my closest allies about this. I know they will sell out fast once I release them to the general public, especially because there’s not many in circulation. It’s the rarest MAGA hat available!” Trump wrote.
He then shared that owning one of the hats was a sign of your status as a Trump supporter.
“Owning this red MAGA hat lets everyone know that you are a critically important part of our grassroots powered movement that will save America,” he said.
The hats are currently being sold on Trump’s website for $50 a piece. They include the “Make America Great Again” slogan on the front that has become synonymous with the former president and his supporters, as well as his name on the back and an American flag on the side.
“Take home a classic! Our iconic Make America Great Again Hat makes a bold wardrobe statement like no other,” the description on the website shared.
The email blast came as Trump faces a growing number of legal troubles and financial struggles associated with each case.
On Monday, he became the first president to appear in a criminal trial, as he is being tried in New York over his alleged hush money payments made to Stormy Daniels.
