While speaking at a closed-door donor retreat on Saturday, former President Donald Trump compared his successor’s administrations to the secret police force of Nazi Germany.

The comments from Trump came after he spoke about his ongoing legal troubles, and an audio recording of the luncheon was provided to NBC News.

“These people are running a Gestapo administration,” Trump said, NBC News reported. “And it’s the only thing they have. And it’s the only way they’re going to win, in their opinion.”

Trump went after the prosecutors in his legal cases, saying that the indictments he’s faced are unjustified but have changed the game.

“Once I got indicted, I said, ‘Well, now the gloves have to come off,’” Trump said before continuing to say that Biden is “the worst president in the history of our country.

“He’s grossly incompetent. He’s crooked as hell. He’s the Manchurian candidate, he accepts massive amounts of money from China, from Russia, from Ukraine, and many other countries. He’s a crook.”

Trump went on to show that the cases don’t bother him, saying, “In a way, I don’t care” and that “life is life.”

However, he did say that the indictments caught him a bit off guard.

“Once I got indicted, I said, ‘Holy s---. I just got indicted. Me. I got indicted,’” Trump said.

Jack Smith, the special counsel prosecuting two federal cases against Trump, earned his own special remarks, as Trump called him an “evil thug” and “deranged.”

The remarks were made at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida, with hundreds of donors gathered for the Republican National Committee’s spring retreat.

High-profile Republicans that were at the retreat included South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott, New York Rep. Elise Stefanik, North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum, Ohio Sen. JD Vance, Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, Florida Rep. Byron Donalds, and South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem.
