Following the endorsement of Vice President Kamala Harris by superstar musician Taylor Swift, former President Donald Trump is making his feelings known about the pop artist.

“I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!” the former president said in a post on his social media site Truth Social.

Swift shared her endorsement for Harris following last Tuesday’s debate between Harris and Trump on ABC News in Philadelphia.

“Like many of you, I watched the debate tonight. If you haven’t already, now is a great time to do your research on the issues at hand and the stances these candidates take on the topics that matter to you the most. As a voter, I make sure to watch and read everything I can about their proposed policies and plans for this country,” Swift wrote in a post on Instagram featuring a photo of her with one of her cats, a shot at vice presidential nominee JD Vance who criticized childless cat ladies last month.

“I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election,” Swift added.

Swift encouraged her fans to research the candidates and get registered to vote, a point she echoed on Wednesday night at the MTV 2024 Video Music Awards.

“If you are over 18, please register to vote for something else that’s very important … [the] presidential election,” Swift said during her acceptance speech for the “Video of the Year.”

On Wednesday, Trump shared with “Fox & Friends” that he was “not a Taylor Swift fan.”

“It was just a question of time. She couldn’t possibly endorse Biden. … But she’s a very liberal person,” the former president continued. “She seems to always endorse a Democrat, and she’ll probably pay a price for it in the marketplace.”

Trump’s vice presidential nominee expressed with Fox News that they don’t think Swift’s endorsement means much.

“We admire Taylor Swift’s music, but I don’t think most Americans, whether they like her music, are fans of hers or not, are going to be influenced by a billionaire celebrity who I think is fundamentally disconnected from the interests and the problems of most Americans,” Vance said.

Meanwhile, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D), Harris’s vice presidential nominee, said he was “incredibly grateful, first of all, to Taylor Swift.”

“I say that as a cat owner, a fellow cat owner. That was eloquent, and that was clear. And that’s the type of courage we need in America to stand up,” Walz said during an interview on MSNBC.
