Trump selling new ‘MAGADonald’s’ merch

Former President Donald Trump is taking advantage of his recent experience working at McDonald’s as a fry cook by launching new “MAGADonald’s” merchandise.

The former president is now selling shirts that feature a photo of Trump leaning out a drive-thru window, waving with the phrase “MAGADonald’s” on them.

The shirts are currently for sale on Trump’s campaign store website for those who donate to his reelection efforts.

“I have a McGift for you!” the website says. “I am the first and only 2024 presidential nominee to work at McDonald’s.”

The campaign stop from Trump came on Sunday at the McDonald’s located in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. While behind the counter he swapped his suit coat for an apron and helped package fries and hand out orders through the drive-thru window.

The move from Trump came after weeks of mocking Vice President Harris for saying she worked at the fast food chain while in college. However, Trump said during an interview last week with Fox & Friends that he heard from her store’s manager that she never worked there. He appeared to double down on this during his time behind the counter on Sunday.

“I’ve now worked for 15 minutes more than Kamala,” Trump said to reporters covering the event.

On his website for the shirt, Trump also hit Harris over inflation, saying, “Thanks to Kamala, prices for a meal are through the roof! I will Make America Affordable Again, but I’m going to need your help to do it.”

Harris’s campaign criticized Trump’s time at the restaurant as a publicity stunt, with Minnesota Gov. and Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Walz adding that Trump was disrespecting workers by “cosplaying” as an employee.

McDonald’s has emphasized its political neutrality, saying it does not endorse political candidates. Trump’s visit was handled by the franchisee that operates the restaurant location.
