On Wednesday afternoon Twitter put a label of “disputed,” and “misleading” on five of President Donald Trump’s tweets.
The platform has been pushing its efforts to prevent election misinformation.
At around 12:49 a.m., Trump posted a series of tweets disputing Biden’s win in Michigan, alleging that people were attempting to steal the election and make his Pennsylvania lead “disappear,” then questioning the legality of “surprise ballot dumps.”
Additionally, Twitter blocked the ability of users to retweet, but allowing users to quote the tweet and add their own comments before sharing.
