A man riding his bike in California was dive bombed by a large hawk, and lucky for us it was all caught on camera.
UPI reports that Kevin Mahan, a photographer at KSEE-TV, was riding near Highway 18 when he looked up and noticed a bunch of birds flying around.

"As I'm going, I notice there's a few birds in the air, and I don't think much of it, I just put my head down and keep pedaling. All of a sudden, I hear a 'tic tic,” Mahan said in an interview.
As seen in the video below, the camera catches the hawk diving and flying within a foot of him. It even looks like the bird was trying to grab his camera.
"I didn't realize how big and sharp those were until I did the screengrab. I was like, 'Holy cow, that could have been a lot worse than it was,’” Mahan added.
It turns out that other cyclists have had encounters with the same hawk in that area. One reports being dive-bombed by the bird upwards of four times.
