Walmart reunites the cast of ‘Office Space’ for hilarious holiday ads

Walmart must be looking to get its flair up as the retail giant has recruited the cast of the cult classic film “Office Space” for a series of holiday ads.

The ads star Gary Cole, Diedrich Bader, and Ajay Naidu in their movie roles, as Walmart will look to make its case against Mondays featuring deals every Monday of November leading up to Black Friday.

The ad shows Cole, who played Bill Lumbergh in the 1999 film, at Initech looking at several deals for different items that Walmart will feature as the film’s famous line, “looks like somebody has a case of the Mondays,” is spoken.

Naidu, who played the IT guy Samir Nagheenanajar, can be seen on a Zoom call talking about the deals with the real Michael Bolton instead of the lesser, played by actor David Herman in the film.

Bader is also seen unloading his truck with his classic handlebar mustache as he looks at the upcoming Walmart deals on his phone.

The ad ends with Bolton singing “Tell me how Black Friday deals are on a Monday,” to the tune of the famous song “How Am I Supposed To Live Without You.”

Walmart will offer several deals online starting on Nov. 7 at 7 p.m. EST for most shoppers and noon EST for Walmart+ members as part of its “Black Friday Deals for Days.”

This ad won’t be the last, as more are expected to air as the month and holiday shopping season continues.
