A woman recently shocked visitors at Walt Disney World’s Epcot Theme Park in Orlando, FL, when she jumped off a ride to grab a cucumber from a greenhouse display on the Living with the Land attraction, according to Newsweek.
Social media posts show the woman getting off the attraction, which is described by Disney as a “cruise past greenhouses on a gentle boat tour,” where guests can discover “the surprising history of farming.”
Genetically modified plants and hybrid seafood such as tilapia and shrimp are part of the attraction. Two restaurants in the Land of the Pavilion area of the park serve fruit, vegetables and seafood that are part of the display.
Newsweek said the viral video of the woman getting off the ride and taking a cucumber from the greenhouse first appeared on the TikTok social media app by a user named marthalorena. It was then removed and reposted on Instagram by a user named alex64gaming before it was removed again.
Some shots of the video can apparently still be seen on this YouTube video.
Twitter user Mark Avis, who claims that he was on the ride with the ship-jumping guest, said that “they actually jumped off the boat [four] different times during the ride.” He also posted a video showing the legs of people who are not on the ride getting back on.
As of Tuesday morning, media relations for Disney parks have not responded to an Audacy inquiry regarding disciplinary actions for the guests. Disney World rules stipulate that guests cannot engage in any unsafe activities that may impede operations of the parks
