We always hear that everything’s bigger in Texas, but now there’s at least one documented instance in the official Guinness Book of Records to prove it – the world’s largest belt buckle.

Montana Silversmiths of Columbus, Mont., created a replica of its most popular creation, the “Big Horn Trophy” buckle, and had it shipped down to the company’s showroom in Dallas to be assembled. The record-setting version stands 10 ½ feet tall and 14 ½ feet wide.

“We are paying homage to a quintessential piece of the West and cowboy way of life,” Montana Silversmiths chief marketing officer Judy Wagner told Guinness World Records.

“The buckle is a perfect way to celebrate the industry and come together to showcase our lifestyle in iconic fashion. It's a culmination of a lot of people's hard work, it is amazing,” she added.

No word on whether someone else is crafting a pair of pants to match.
