The Rangers announced that they will hold a moment of silence before the game for Skaggs and all proceeds from the Texas2Split will be donated to the Angels Baseball Foundation.

July 2, 2019 Skaggs was found dead in his Southlake hotel room Monday afternoon. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner says an autopsy has been scheduled for today to determine the cause of death.
