Local woman compiles photos, videos taken during cancer treatment into documentary

Lisa Whitmore Davis of Southfield compiled thousands of photos and videos that she took during her chemotherapy for breast cancer into a full length documentary called "The Whitmore Project." A free showing of The Whitmore Project will take place on Sunday, October 25 at the IBEW Building in Detroit, followed by a panel discussion with survivors and doctors. Karmanos will also be on hand at the event to sign women up for mammograms. You can register at whitmoreproject.com.
