Amon-Ra St. Brown names one player he would add to Lions: "Would have to be Maxx Crosby"

If Amon-Ra St. Brown could pick one player from any team to add to the Lions ... "it would probably have to be Maxx Crosby."

A large portion of Lions fans would agree. Answering the hypothetical on the St. Brown Podcast this week, St. Brown pointed to how dominant the Lions' pass rush would be with Crosby -- the NFL's leader in tackles for loss each of the last three seasons -- Za'Darius Smith and a healthy Aidan Hutchinson.

"I feel like him, Z, the edge rushers we got, Aidan, would be crazy," St. Brown said. "At that point I feel like your DB's have to cover for like three seconds and that's that, because one of those is getting to the quarterback, one of those is getting a sack, a pressure, whatever it is.

"So I would say Maxx Crosby at this point in time, There's so many good players on this league, but just feel like, you know, he went to Eastern Michigan, it just feels right."

Crosby has ties to Detroit. He was born in Lapeer, MI and played his college ball at Eastern, and has talked highly in the past about Dan Campbell. He was well aware of the fans clamoring for him to get traded to the Lions this season in the week of Hutchinson's injury, because it was blowing up his phone.

Of course, Crosby has also sworn allegiance to the Raiders many times over. But who knows. His contract is up in two years. Maybe the time will be right to come home to Michigan.
