Devin Bush’s social media behavior has been troubling to say the least.
Recently he has ramped up the number of tweets he sends out.
Sometimes it’s something like “Social media is one hell of a drug” and other times he appears to be going after some of his TikTok-using teammates.
While it’s hard to tell if he’s being serious or just trolling people, there was one post he made on the Fourth of July that was met with plenty of backlash.
The Steelers linebacker retweeted a video of a cat falling from a ledge several stories and landing to its probable death.
Bush said “The only time I seen a cat not land on its feet omg!!” with a skull emoji in the retweet.
The original video has since been deleted, but Bush's comments remain on his page.
Now, he could be facing some sort of discipline.
On Wednesday, Bush Tweeted “Man see y’all done got me in trouble,” and added “I get 2 tweets a day now so I gotta make it count or else.”
Who knows if he is actually facing any discipline from the Steelers but Coach Mike Tomlin has been relatively lax with social media in the past.
But they have addressed some issues. One being Antonio Brown going live after a playoff victory and when JuJu Smith-Schuster stopped dancing on opposing team’s logos on TikTok before games.
Mike Mitchell reportedly got in trouble a few years ago for strange posts.
So maybe Tomlin, Kevin Colbert or someone within the organization has talked to him. As a representative of the Steelers organization, they cannot be happy with him.
He isn't going to be cut or anything, but will something happen?
Only time will tell.
