PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A car drove through a crowd of Eagles fans on North Broad Street Sunday night, injuring several people as hundreds celebrated the team’s NFC championship win in the streets.
It happened around 9:30 p.m. near North Broad and Spring Garden streets. A witness told NBC10 that a woman in a car got into an argument with a group of people and then took off.
At least five people suffered minor injuries. Video from the scene shows several people being taken into ambulances on stretchers and wheelchairs.
The 36-year-old driver was stopped and taken into custody a few blocks away. It is not yet known if she will face charges.
