There's an opportunity to own items from former Detroit Tiger’s baseball legend Dennis “Denny” McLain, including rare sports memorabilia from his personal sports memorabilia collection during a sale, which is taking place over three days at his home in Wixom.

Presented by Aaron’s Estate Sales, the Estate of Dennis McLain sale runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 2 through Sunday, Oct. 4. See details HERE.
Items in the estate sale include worn baseball mitts, signed magazine covers and more.
They all belong to McClain, whom the Sporting News described as "one of the great what-ifs in baseball history."

McLain was a 30-game winner in 1968, when he swept the American League Most Valuable Player and Cy Young Awards for the Tigers.
Every Detroiter knows that as the year the Tigers won the Wold Series.

McClain followed that up with another Cy Young season in 1969 "before his career imploded after rotator cuff issues and poor off-field decisions," Sporting News said. More specifically, McClain ended up facing charges for stealing $3 million in pension funds, racketeering and drugs.

Denny paid his dues and these days hes part of a podcast with Eli Zaret called "No Filter Sports." The estate sale organizers say Denny will be live streaming his podcast and will be available to autograph purchased items.
