By now, you've probably seen the cake. So has Amon-Ra St. Brown: "When I first saw it I was like, no way. The attention to detail is ridiculous," he said on the most recent episode the St. Brown Podcast.
The cake is an edible, life-size model of St. Brown doing his now-famous headstand celebration in the Lions' win at Lambeau this season, made by The Home Bakery in Rochester.
"People are sending it to me on Instagram, my friends are texting me like, 'You gotta check this out. I'm like, 'Bro, this is crazy.' So I’m checking it out next week in person," said St. Brown. "I do want to see what it tastes like, too. I need a slice or something."
And St. Brown is honoring the bakery's efforts by announcing a promotion in which fans who purchase anything from Home Bakery from Jan. 13 through Jan. 16 -- Monday through Thursday of next week -- will be entered into a raffle to win two tickets to the Lions' divisional-round playoff game next weekend. The winner will be announced on Friday the 17th.
"We're going to pull, random selection, one person and a plus-one to go to this game. It's going to be rocking. I promise you, I'm going to take care of you with the seats, I got you," said St. Brown. "Shoutout to Home Bakery, man. The cake is lit, it's nuts."
