The Lions didn't hang 50 against the Colts, but they still had themselves some fun in Indy.

And they might be paying for it this week.

David Montgomery fully expects a letter in his locker from the NFL after he and Jameson Williams pretended to shoot dice in the end zone to celebrate Montgomery's six-yard touchdown that gave the Lions a 14-3 lead in their 24-6 win over the Colts.

"I think me and Jamo will get fined today, but I’m excited for that fine," said Montgomery.

Williams, of course, was suspended for the first four games of last season for a violation of the NFL's gambling policy, after which the league rewrote the rule that Williams broke. "Free Jamo" became a common refrain around the Lions' locker room.

Williams has been fined twice this season for touchdown celebrations -- for taunting against the Seahawks in Week 4 and for an obscene gesture against the Jaguars in Week 11. Montgomery has not been fined by the NFL in his six-year career.

Jahmyr Gibbs might be facing a fine this week as well after he was flagged for taunting on his second touchdown against the Colts that put the Lions ahead 21-6. Gibbs turned back and had some choice words for a defender as he strutted into the end zone.

Gibbs does deserve some style points for his celebration after his first touchdown. A day after he flew to Indianapolis dressed as Allen Iverson, Gibbs and Amon-Ra. St. Brown recreated Iverson's famous step-back and step-over on Tyronn Lue.

Several Lions players paid tribute to NBA greats on their trip to Indy, including Montgomery who went as former Pistons star Grant Hill. At the very least, they won't be fined for that.
