The Lions dodged three big bullets in Sunday's win over the Colts.

Despite running back David Montgomery, left tackle Taylor Decker and top cornerback Carlton Davis III all suffering injuries in the second half, none of them are facing long-term absences.

Montgomery, who left the game with a shoulder injury and did not return, said after the Lions' 24-6 win, "I'm good to go, rollin'" for the Thanksgiving game against the Bears, his former team. He said "it was just a smart decision" not to re-enter the game Sunday with the Lions comfortably in the lead.

"Coach Campbell pulled me to the side, like, 'Hey, there’s bigger fish to fry.' So I trust in him and we’ll be ready for Thursday," Montgomery said.

Decker suffered a knee/ankle injury when he got rolled up on by Jared Goff in the third quarter and was tended to for several minutes in the medical tent on the sideline. But Decker returned for the Lions' ensuing drive and said he, too, will be good for the Bears game.

It's a little less clear at the moment for Davis, who injured his knee when he got his cleat stuck in the turf on a near-pick in the fourth quarter. He's already playing through a broken thumb suffered earlier this month. Davis did not return to the game and said afterward, "Mentally I’m good, let’s start there. Physically, I could be better."

Davis did say that the injury is nothing long term and is expecting a positive update Monday after imaging tests come back.

"I’m walking and I’m standing on it, so it should be good news going forward," said Davis.

He was mostly frustrated that "it's the second injury I've had because of turf" in his career, but added, "we got a short week, get back, get some treatment and I’ll be good."

That would be ideal for the Lions, who already played Sunday without fellow starting corner Terrion Arnold after the rookie injured his groin in Thursday's practice.

The outlook isn't so bright for Kalif Raymond, who injured his foot on a punt return in the third quarter and was later carted to the locker room. Raymond wasn't available for comment after the game, but Dan Campbell said the wide receiver/return man could need more time than the others to recover.
