Last Friday, Trajan Langdon said he planned to fill out the Pistons' by roster by "continuing to bring in shooting, IQ, some experience." He hit all three targets with Tobias Harris.

The Pistons are signing Harris to a two-year, $52 million deal, per Adrian Wojnarowski, bringing the veteran wing back to Detroit after he spent parts of three seasons with the team from 2016-18.

Harris averaged 17.2 points and shot 35.3 percent from three in 70 games for the 76ers last season. He was the third leading scorer on a team that made the playoffs, just like Tim Hardaway was on a team that made the NBA Finals. Langdon added Hardaway, another veteran wing, in a trade with the Mavs last week.

Harris is entering his 13th NBA season, the last six of which he spent on winning teams in Philly. His best years are likely behind him, highlighted by a four-year stretch where he scored about 20 per game and shot close to 40 percent from three, but he's a solid add for a team that needs more spacing and more experience around franchise cornerstone Cade Cunningham.

Harris, who turns 32 in July, will carry a $26 million cap hit in Detroit, but the Pistons still have about that much in cap space to continue upgrading the roster this summer. They have also agreed to a rookie max extension with Cunningham, but that deal won't kick in until 2025-26.

Langdon, in his first year as president of basketball operations of the Pistons, is tasked with turning around a team that won a franchise-worst 14 games last season and went 74-244 in the last four years under former GM Troy Weaver.
