The Pistons stole home-court advantage from the Knicks with Monday night's win in New York, as the series shifts to Detroit. For as raucous as it was at Madison Square Garden, Little Caesars Arena might be even rowdier.

"They saying that LCA bout to be more lit than the Garden," Pistons guard Malik Beasley said Tuesday morning on X.

Thursday will bring the Pistons' first home playoff game in six years, and just their third ever at Little Caesars Arena. They went 0-2 versus the Bucks in a first-round sweep in 2019, losing at home by a combined 39 points.

Monday night marked the Pistons' first playoff win in 17 years, snapping an NBA-worst 15-game skid.

"It’s a great feeling, man," Cade Cunningham told reporters after scoring 33 points in the Pistons' 100-94 win. "It feels good to represent the city like we did tonight. It’s something that the city’s been waiting on for a long time, so we feel good about it and we’re ready to get back to the crib and perform in front of them."

Game 3 is Thursday at 7 p.m., with Game 4 on Sunday at 1 p.m. Asked what the win in Game 2 means to the Pistons' season, J.B. Bickerstaff said, "We’ll talk about that this summer. We got bigger things we’re out here for."

"That’s why our guys have been able to grow and stay consistent, is because they just think about the now," said Bickerstaff. "And I thought they did a great job tonight staying in the moment and doing what they needed to do."
