Columbus Blue Jackets’ Brandon Dubinsky isn’t a fan of Penguins Captain Sidney Crosby.
The 34-year-old who missed the entire 2019-20 with a wrist injury (and may never play again) was on the Garage Beers Podcast and told us what he really things.
“Everybody wants to talk about Sid and Ovi or whatever, dude f**k Sid. I’ll take Ovi every day of the week,” Dubinsky said.
“I asked Ovi for an autographed stick, I got it from him.
Thanked him for it. I would never ask Sid for a stick ever,” added Dubinsky.

Those are strong words coming from a guy clearly inferior on the ice to Crosby. Dubinsky has 153 goals and 285 assists over 823 games played.
Crosby on the other hand has 476 goals and 827 assists in 1020 games. That’s 1,303 points folks.
But Dubinsky made it clear that he knows Crosby is better than him in a tweet.
When on the ice, Dubinsky was able to get under other players’ skin including the one time he got Crosby to drop the gloves in 2015.
Dubinsky also was stripped of his alternate captain title back in 2017 by coach John Tortorella. A title he lost to then Blue Jacket Jack Johnson.
Crosby and Dubinsky have a long history together, usually ending with Dubinsky doing something stupid.
