There have been many movies and television series that have been brought to life using LEGOs over the years, but the latest is truly a dream come true for anyone who dreamed of owning a robot as a child. A fan of the movie ‘Short Circuit’ recently recreated the iconic Johnny 5 robot using LEGOs, and it may soon become available for purchase. The LEGO robot was recently submitted on LEGO ideas and fans can vote to bring the idea to life.

The new ‘Short Circuit’ LEGO creation, submitted by RJ BrickBuilds, is a near perfect replica of Johnny 5 and comes complete with a fully motorized body. The creator used LEGO Powered Up motors, which means the robot's arms, head, laser and body can be controlled via the Powered Up app, according to Movie Web. For fans of the 1986 film, they will need to put together 2711 pieces to create the miniature version of the iconic robot.
