DETROIT – After a 10-day layoff, the Lions sure seemed eager to get back into action Sunday against the Panthers.
Detroit flew 81 yards in just three plays to open the scoring, and a Sam LaPorta touchdown capped a second drive in just five plays to start up 14-0.
But it was a defensive play that turned heads in between those drives, as DL Aidan Hutchinson showed off his strength – and his hands.
Hutchinson blew past the offensive line and threw out his right paw, snagging a quick Bryce Young pass for his first interception of the year.
