ESPN's Brian Windhorst reports that the Philadelphia 76ers may be able to acquire Kyrie Irving or Damian Lillard in a trade involving James Harden.

"I would not be surprised if we see Kyrie investigate what is going on with Philadelphia. If Harden moves out, it brings a window for him to move in," Windhorst said on ESPN.

"The other thing name here is Dame Lillard. Is it possible for Philadelphia, if James Harden moves out, could acquire assets from [the] Los Angeles [Clippers], put their assets together and prepare an offer for Dame Lillard. That's an option. Kyrie Irving, potentially, would be an option. Or they could go with Tyrese Maxey, take whatever assets they may get in a James Harden and send those assets somewhere else for somebody else."

ESPN NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski broke the news on Thursday that Harden will pick up his $35.6 million player option, and the two sides—him and the Sixers—will work together “to explore trade scenarios.”

The Los Angeles Clippers and New York Knicks were the first team reportedly interested in Harden.
