Matt Nagy calls out Bears' performance, pride after 'flat-out embarrassing' loss to Packers

"I'm hoping that really none of us slept last night because of where we're at," Nagy says.

(670 The Score) Bears coach Matt Nagy on Monday was still simmering after a 41-25 loss to the Packers on Sunday night that he felt was "flat-out embarrassing."

Fresh off a late-night bus trip back from Green Bay, Nagy called out the Bears for what he feels is a lack of personal pride amid the team's five-game losing streak.

"For all of us, there comes a time where there's a little bit of personal pride," Nagy said Monday morning. "I'm hoping that really none of us slept last night because of where we're at."

Nagy's comments marked a change of tone from after the game Sunday, when he felt the team's effort shouldn't be questioned. The Bears struggled in all three phases against the Packers, who at various points led 27-3 and 41-10.

Once 5-1, the Bears have fallen to 5-6 and seen their playoff hopes slip further away. The losing streak and poor play have led to questions about Nagy's job security in his third season.

Nagy maintained his concern is about getting the Bears back on track rather than what could come for him personally.

"We better have some stinking fire," Nagy said. "And you better have some character.

"Enough is enough. We all feel it."
