Mitchell Miller's victim goes public with the abuse he endured

The victim of Mitchell Miller's abuse has offered some insight into the hockey player's actions.

In a statement given to the Hockey Diversity Alliance, Isaiah Meyer-Crothers detailed the nightmare Miller - who was cut loose by the Bruins earlier this week - put the young man through.

Meyer-Crothers says in the statement that while Miller told him that he was sorry, that he was doing work in the community, and that he wanted to be Meyer-Crothers' friend, Miller did not provide any proof that he really was doing the work.

"All the lies I have been told from him for so many years I don't believe what Mitchell told me," Meyer-Crothers writes.

"Mitchell isn't my friend. It hurts my heart what he did to me. So I just wanted to tell everyone -- when Mitchell says we're friends it isn't true. I can't take more of this," Meyer-Crothers concludes.

The statement comes a day after Miller's agent, Eustace King, said during a podcast appearance that Miller and Meyer-Crothers had been talking for a month leading up to him signing with the Bruins and that the two were "making progress."
