Today's NBA slate features nine games, so the player prop pool has many ballers to choose from. The marquee game is Jazz-Clippers, which should come down to the wire. Utah is currently favored by -3.5-points thanks to their incredible 19-1-1 against the spread streak. The total is set to 225, so we should see plenty of points in that game.
As for betting tips, player props are a fun way to wager on NBA games even if you don't like a side or total. I like to find matchups that I can exploit or good situations due to injuries.
Let’s dive into a couple of these scenarios now.

Nikola Jokic OVER 25.5 points
This is a lofty number, but as long as this game doesn’t turn into a blowout, the Joker should be able to get 30. Jokic comes into tonight’s game averaging 27.4 points per game (PPG), and that number has jumped to 31.3 over his last ten games.
The Cavs are the perfect matchup for Jokic, as they are 21st in points allowed, 22nd in offensive rebounds allowed, 23rd in field goals allowed and defensive efficiency. They are also 28th in opponents field goal percentage and 30th in opponents 3-point percentage.
He will take Cleveland’s big men away from the basket and score from all over the floor. Jokic will have a big game as long as he is playing late into the fourth quarter.
Jamal Murray OVER 2.5 made threes
Murray is coming off of one of his best individual performances of the season, where he dropped 35 points including five made threes in a loss to the Wizards.
When it comes to the three ball, Murray has gone over this number in four straight games, averaging four made threes a game in that stretch. The volume is also there, as the Denver guard is letting it fly 9.75 times a game from deep.
As mentioned in the Joker blurb above, the Cavs are 30th in opponent’s three point percentage. That means he’ll get plenty of good looks to hit his mark in this matchup.
The Nuggets are also coming off of a bad loss to the Wizards, so look for them to play with a little more motivation tonight.
Ben Simmons UNDER 15.5 points
Joel Embiid recently missed a game, but he's back in the lineup now and playing better than ever. When Embiid was out Simmons exploded for 42 points, but look for Ben to come back down to earth tonight.
His game is predicated on grabbing boards and getting easy points in transition. While the Bulls have a lot of flaws on defense, giving up buckets in transition is not one of them. Chicago allows just 10.6 points in transition per game, the fifth-fewest in the league.
Simmons averages 15.2 PPG and that number dips to 13.2 per game at home. He is also battling the stomach flu, so his minutes might be limited tonight, especially if this game gets out of hand. The Sixers are 9-point favorites at most books.
Either way, Philly’s offense will run through Embiid against the Bulls. Unless Simmons gets hot (please no miracle 3), I don’t see him eclipsing this number.
