Paul Pierce shared a video on social media on Monday... don't panic! This one was just a few seconds long and featured just a small video of himself laughing, and not anything else.
The post came minutes after Ryan Glasspiegel and Michael McCarthy of Front Office Sports reported that ESPN and Pierce had parted ways, a move that may or may not have been related to another series of videos which were a lot less tame than the one seen above.
The videos featured Pierce drinking alcohol and smoking what appeared to be a joint, with scantily clad women massaging him and dancing nearby. It didn't take long for the videos, which he livestreamed on Instagram, to go viral all over social media.
After a lengthy playing career in which Pierce took home an NBA Finals ring and earned 10 All-star selections, the 43-year-old spent time as a frequent contributor and analyst on ESPN's basketball programming. This has apparently come to an end, however, and we can only speculate as to what "Big Things" may be coming in the near future for "The Truth."
