Detroit Pistons legend Chauncey Billups came to town with his Portland Trail Blazers Wednesday night and walked away with a comeback win, 110-101.

The Pistons were up by as many as 15 points in the third quarter, but squandered the lead to drop their second straight game.

Cade Cunningham and Ausar Thompson lit up Little Caesars Arena with some highlight reel-worthy dunks early on, but Portland outscored Detroit 50-26 over the final 18 minutes.

Midway through the second quarter Thompson, Detroit’s fifth-overall pick in this summer’s NBA Draft, threw down a pair of back-to-back alley-oops from Cunningham and Marcus Sasser.

Not long after, it was Cade’s turn to steal the show as he busted out the windmill on a wide-open fastbreak.

But rookie Shaedon Sharpe scored 26 of his 29 points over the last quarter and a half, as Portland clawed its way back into the game in the third by outscoring the Pistons by 11.

Detroit only put up 17 in the fourth quarter.

Cunningham finished with 30 points and four assists, while Thompson had 16.

The Pistons will head back out on the road Thursday, taking on the Pelicans before returning home Sunday against the Suns.
