LOS ANGELES (KNX) – A week after Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Van Jefferson and his wife, Samaria, welcomed a son hours after the Rams won Super Bowl LVI, Jefferson revealed his son's name .
Jefferson announced on “The Adam Schefter Podcast” that his son's name was “Champ Curtis Jefferson”, according to TMZ.
Jefferson’s wife, Samaria, was taken out of SoFi Stadium during the Super Bowl after she went into labor. She told the team not to tell Jefferson if the baby was born during the game, The Associated Press reported.
Jefferson told TMZ he had to watch his son’s birth on FaceTime due to traffic after the game.
