However, many TikTokers are warning others about participating in the semi-revealing challenge. The challenge calls for the participant to dance to a mashup of Paul Anka’s “Put Your Head On My Shoulder” and Doja Cat’s “Street.” When the beat of the song drops you can only see the silhouette of the person due to the lighting.
Because you lose the ability to really see the person doing the challenge many TikTokers have been partaking in the challenge in their underwear or in their birthday suits to vamp up the sexiness of the challenge. But issues have begun to arise.
TikTok user @lostvcnryshots shared a video where they warn users to be careful when choosing what to wear during the challenge. “Just make sure you're being cognizant of what you're wearing,” telling users it's pretty simple to remove the red filter being used in the videos, and allowing people to really see TikTokers in their underwear or naked.
According to Buzzfeed Reddit had to ban a subreddit called r/SilhouetteUnfiltered and Twitter had to suspend accounts editing TikToks and removing the filter.
