It didn't take Bryce Harper long to get comfortable in his rehab stint.

In his first at-bat for the Triple-A Lehigh Valley IronPigs, Harper hit a no-doubt-about-it home run:

Harper broke his left thumb on June 25 when he was hit by a Blake Snell pitch. His absence may have prevented a run at a third National League MVP. Before his injury, Harper was slashing .318/.385/.599 with 15 home runs, 48 RBIs and a .985 OPS.

Phillies interim manager Rob Thomson suggested on Monday that Harper would spend the week with the IronPigs, and could potentially return on Aug. 29 when the team begins a series in Arizona.
