After all of Friday’s excitement, World Series MVP Corey Seager decided to do a little moonlighting and try his hand at a possible offseason job.

Seager found himself working a shift at the Raising Cane’s  Collin Street location just south of I-30.

KRLD’s Tom Hale was there and talked to fans hoping to get in on the action and meet the man who helped win the Rangers their first World Series.

“Corey was in there cooking up the chicken. I saw him serving up several people in the drive-through,” one fan said, adding that seeing Seager interacting with fans “means everything” to him and other fans celebrating.

The Texas Rangers won the 2023 World Series last week, celebrating on Friday with a parade and ceremony. In total, an estimated 700,000 fans showed up to celebrate the team in what many called an unforgettable moment.
