Sean Payton is head coach of the New Orleans Saints. And, to Who Dats across the Gulf South & around the globe, he will go down in Black & Gold history as a hero. After a dismal 3-13 season...followed by the heartbreak & devastation of Hurricane Katrina in August 2005, Coach Payton lead the Black & Gold to the playoffs in 2006. His team & a Saints organization devoted to giving residents & fans “hope” for a new beginning, became a symbol that all things are possible. The motto became - New Orleans can’t just recover, we can thrive! That won Coach Payton AP NFL “Coach of the Year.” Then, flash forward...following the 2009 season Sean Payton lead the Saints to their first Super Bowl Championship!
