Do Saints believe they can win Super Bowl 59? At least one player is all-in

Just about everyone -- even NFL players -- has a podcast these days, but does everyone with a podcast believe they can win the Super Bowl?

On a clip shared from new Saints WR Equanimeous St. Brown's podcast with his brother, Lions star Amon-Ra St. Brown, that subject landed as the pair debated which of their teams made more effective improvements over the offseason.

"We're actually chasing [a Super Bowl]," Amon-Ra said, to which Equanimeous responded: "Everyone is chasing it. You're chasing it just like us. ... Every year is a new season."

But is it? There's no denying that the Lions will be among the top contenders after a run to the NFC Championship a year ago. Amon-Ra says his team believes that, but it's not true for everybody."

"Everyone gets to the team meeting room, like coach is like ‘what do you want to do? What are your goals?’" Amon-Ra continued. "No one in your fu***** room thinks they’re gonna win a Super Bowl.”

Equanimeous told his brother that statement isn't true, but the best response came from veteran Cam Jordan in response on social media.

"I sit wholeheartedly believe nawlins Saints winning it all," Jordan posted.

Belief is one thing, but that result would certainly mark one of the bigger odds upsets in recent history with the Saints currently projected to finish third in their own division after three consecutive years of missing the playoffs.

The Lions currently sit with the fourth best odds to win it all (+1200), according to DraftKings, while the Saints are 25th (+10000). Should they make that improbable run, they'd reach the Super Bowl in their own stadium, something that hasn't been accomplished since the Bucs reached Super Bowl 55 at their home stadium.
