Saints rookie Kool-Aid McKinstry's first NFL purchase? A Benz for mom
Kool-Aid McKinstry is knee deep in his first offseason as an NFL pro, but he had a big purchase to make first.
That'd be a Mercedes-Benz for mom, which was documented in a social video by Marlon "Paparazzi" Tripp.

The video shows McKinstry and his family at Mecedes-Benz of Birmingham where they are surprising his mother, Geneva Allen, on Mother's Day. McKinstry shared the video to Instagram with the caption "First purchase. Congrats Ma, you deserve it all."
The vehicle, a Gelandewagen or G-Wagon, retails upward of $143,000.
The New Orleans Saints traded up to pick the former Alabama standout at No. 41 in the NFL draft, though McKinstry is yet to officially sign his Saints contract. He was in town with teammates for rookie minicamp this past weekend, but he is yet to get on the field for practice as he works back from a foot injury.
