Looking for a NOLA heart shirt to support Bourbon Street victims? Here's where you can buy them
The New Orleans Saints and Pelicans have been wearing their love for New Orleans on their chest over the past week. Now they're allowing fans and supporters to do the same.
The teams created warm-up shirts worn by players that featured "NOLA" above Saints and Pelicans logos with the O replaced with a red heart. The shirts were a show of solidarity and in support of the city after a terror attack on New Year's Day left 14 dead and dozens others hurt.
The teams have now made those shirts available for purchase, with all proceeds going to support the victims of last week's tragic events.
The Pelicans made the shirts, with a Pelicans logo, available at the team store during Tuesday night's game against the Timberwolves, though it remains unclear if they will continue to be available at future games, the next coming on Wednesday when the team host's the Trail Blazers, those proceeds were pledged to the United for New Orleans Relief fund, managed by the United Way of Southeast Louisiana.
The Saints have also made the shirts, with a Saints logo, available for purchase online, with all proceeds going to the Greater New Orleans Foundation's community relief fund. The shirts are priced at 34.99 and can be purchased in sizes ranging from small to 5XL.
