Saints legend Jimmy Graham might not be done with the NFL after all: report
Jimmy Graham is currently training to row across the arctic, seemingly indicating that his days in the NFL are done -- or maybe not?
The legendary Saints tight end in an interview with ESPN wouldn't close the door on yet another return after spending the 2023 season back in New Orleans.
"I think anything is possible," Graham told ESPN, relative to playing in the NFL while still training for his rowing expedition. "Right now I'm certainly enjoying how my body feels as far as my joints and everything."
The underlying tone of his answers didn't seem to indicate an imminent return, though it is worth noting that he didn't rejoin the team last year until days before camp. He made it clear to ESPN that his intention is to retire as a member of the Saints whenever he does do so officially.
Graham put out a social media post after last season thanking New Orleans and seemingly indicating that he was done in the NFL. That came after appearing in 13 games but catching just six passes, four of which went for touchdowns.
