NOPD: Find this carjacker, see the video

New Orleans Police need your help in tracking down a carjacker and the vehicle she brazenly stole Wednesday.

It happened just before 2 p.m. in the 7900 block of Chef Menteur Highway near Werner Drive in the Plum Orchard area of New Orleans East.

Two children were inside the car at the time.

In a video obtained by WWLTV, a man at the gas pump grabs the woman from his car, throws her to the ground, and punches her. The woman gets up and casually walks away out of frame before walking back towards the Nissan Rogue, which is parked with the engine running and the two children inside.

The stolen vehicle is described as a gray 2020 Nissan Rouge, Louisiana license plate 329DVO.
