Police in New Orleans are searching for three people they say are ‘persons of interest’ in a viral video of a driver recklessly doing donuts in the middle of a downtown intersection.
In February a video surfaced on social media of the dangerous driver spinning their car around in circles at the intersection of Howard and O’ Keefe Avenues as onlookers cheered the driver on.
Police identified 23-year-old Taji Hasty, 32-year-old John Esler, and 50-year-old Adson Ribeieo as persons of interest, in connection with the stunt.
Hasty, Esler, and Ribeieo are not sought on criminal charges at this time, however, detectives feel that they may have knowledge or information vital to the investigation and wish to interview them.

A driver dangerously doing donuts is a growing trend in New Orleans and a concern for residents and police.
