Watch: Police release video of a man suspected of stealing a Levee Police vehicle

Police in New Orleans released a video of a suspect they say stole an Orleans Parish Levee Police vehicle.

The police vehicle was taken from the Orleans Levee Board police station in the 6900 block of Franklin Avenue Saturday. The driver reportedly crashed through a locked gate to get away with the stolen cop car.

Cops find stolen police car, looking for suspects

The video shows a shirtless man getting out of the stolen 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe police vehicle, and walking away, abandoned the cop car in the area near S. Derbigny and Clio Street in Central City.
