Watch: Jefferson Parish hosts virtual COVID-19 Memorial Ceremony

Today marks one year since Louisiana saw its first confirmed case of COVID-19

Since then, the Louisiana Department of Health reports 434,289 confirmed cases of covid and a total of 9,758 people have died.

To honor those who were lost and those people continuing the fight against the pandemic, Jefferson Parish leaders host a virtual COVID-19 Memorial Ceremony on social media.
