Watch: Thieves steal N.O. city work truck

A dashboard camera captures car thieves as they steal a New Orleans city work truck.

Police say it happened Wednesday, in broad-daylight, near the corner of Napoleon and Loyola Avenues as city workers were working.

The dashboard camera on another work truck caught the incident as it happened. The video shows a dark-colored sedan, pull up to the white work truck, which had its flashing lights on.

A passenger jumps out of the sedan and into the work truck and then drives off. The driver of the sedan then follows. A worker in a safety vest stands in the street in disbelief as the stolen work truck drives away.
