Sheriff's deputies in a city just outside Denver went on a wild chase Sunday morning after a runaway cow got trapped in a neighborhood.
The Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office posted video of the chase on social media, saying deputies "had a real beef" with a big, black bovine that got loose in Englewood.
"Turns out a heifer high-tailed it from its pasture in Parker and ended up in a residential neighborhood," the post said.
Deputies, along with the cow's owner and fellow cowboys, responded to the neighborhood and tried to wrangle the animal.
"The steaks were high and we didn't want to butcher this slow-speed chase but this cow was moooooving," the sheriff's office said.
Eventually, the cow's free run came to an end after it was cornered in a small park and put back in its trailer.
"Holy cow! You all did an udderly good job. Now let's milk this for all it's worth," the sheriff's office said.
