BRICK, N.J. (1010 WINS) -- A man was injured after the gun he was carrying inside a Costco went off by accident, police said.
It happened at about 1 p.m. on Sunday at a Costco’s located in Brick Township off Route 70 .
The gun owner was carrying the weapon when it went off, officials said. He suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
No one else was injured in the incident.
It is unclear if the gun owner will be charged.
The incident remains under investigation.
