Website urging 'draft Barron Trump' set up in response to Iran War

As President Donald Trump defended Operation Fury in Iran as a necessary action, others aren't quite so convinced.

A collaborator on "South Park" in particular reacted to the attack with a call to draft Barron Trump, the president's youngest son.

"America is strong because its leaders are strong. President Trump proves that every day. Naturally, his son Barron is more than ready to defend the country his father so boldly commands.

"Service is honor. Strength is inherited," the site says. USA Today called the website a parody, and its intention is unclear other than mocking the president.

The site was reportedly created by Toby Morton, a comedy writer who previously worked on South Park and Mad TV. USA Today says Morton has described himself as a “creator of anti‑fascist websites” and is known for registering domain names that appear official but redirect to parody pages impersonating public figures or institutions.

He previously created parody sites criticizing Trump‑Kennedy Center, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, Andrew Cuomo, televangelist Joel Osteen, and Texas Gov. Greg Abbott.

Along with the website comes renewed warnings not to believe everything you read online because one of the claims it makes is that the White House said Barron Trump is "too tall" to serve in the U.S. military.

Newsweek reported that claim went viral "as online calls mount for President Donald Trump’s youngest son to be drafted amid escalating conflict in the Middle East."

The problem is the White House said no such thing about Barron. The 'too tall' claim came from the satirical website.

However, the idea that Barron Trump should be drafted alongside other members of the military drew such a strong reaction that Morton later posted on social media, he was "unable to count the amount of anonymous messages from MAGA on this one, but, I may have struck a nerve?"
